Meet the doctor - Dr. Fedora Katz

Dr. Fedora Katz grew up in Bucharest, Romania. After living in different countries, she discovered the beautiful and welcoming spirit of the Pacific Northwest and settled here with her husband, Danny.

Dr. Katz graduated from the Dental School at the University of Medicine “Carol Davila” in Bucharest, earning her DDS diploma. She then pursued three additional years of orthodontic residency at the same school, obtaining her European Orthodontic Certificate. After practicing orthodontics in a private practice in Southern France, she continued her orthodontic education at the University of Washington where she obtained her Masters degree along with her second orthodontic specialty certificate.

Every time I enter the office, I’m greeted with big smiles and friendliness from all of the employees. They truly go above and beyond to make their customers feel welcome.

Meet the doctor - Dr. Fedora Katz

As a UW graduate, she received excellent clinical training for diverse settings such as preventive care, young and adult treatment, complex and inter-disciplinary cases, Invisalign, sleep apnea, digital diagnosis and CBCT interpretation. Dr. Katz has extensive research experience in the field of orthodontics, specifically digital imaging, diagnosis, and orthodontic stability. She received awards, participated in many conferences, presented posters and held public lectures.

Currently, she is an active member of the following associations:

  • American Association of Orthodontics
  • Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontics
  • Washington State Society of Orthodontics
  • International and American Association of Dental Research

Traveling and hiking with her husband and friends are her favorite places to look for new inspiration.
